SOLAR ACTIVITY
NOAA Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity - March 5 21:00 UTC
Solar activity was very low. Todays flare activity consisted of just a few, low-level B-class events. Regions 1052 and 1053 appeared to be quieter today as they approached the west limb. A small, slow CME was observed on the west limb at about 00:54 UTC and was associated with a weak wave in STEREO-A EUVI imagery. The wave appeared to originate near Region 1051.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low for the next three days.
