All five classical planets have gathered for a rare night sky event:

Bright Jupiter, yellow Saturn, rusty-red Mars, blazing Venus and glimmering Mercury form a spectacular alignment over the western horizon.

A fine crescent moon is contributing to an already dazzling visual feast on May 13-16, 2002

It is the finest planetary conjunction for decades to come..
